A driver who was clocked at 76mph on the M3 has been given six points on his licence.
Jason Macdonald of Forest Frony, Hythe, was driving northbound on the M3 when he was clocked at 76mph near Winchester.
The 53-year-old was in a Toyota between junctions 12 and 11 when he was caught by an automatic speed camera.
A 50mph variable speed limit was in place at the time.

Macdonald pleaded guilty to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed limit at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
The offence was committed on July 22, 2023.
He was fined £300 and received six points on his licence.
Magistrates' also ordered him to pay £110 court costs and a £120 surcharge.
This must be paid in full by March 14.
